Anyone who takes part in any of our activities, registration or events must be a member of The Dog Training Club. This way everyone involved has a voice.

Convert your dog's show wins into points and awards with The Dog Training Club's online Competition League! Simply record your dog's wins from any show, and for every 250 points earned, receive a Commendation Certificate. Compete for dog, kennel and team of the year, 

Our Annual Conference can be attended by any member, and any member can submit items for the agenda for the whole membership to vote at conference. Often combined with talks, lunches and social meet ups, They are also a great fun event!

The only single dog register open to all dogs, of any age, pedigree or crossbreed. A true system for ownership and effective administration rather then breeding and bloodlines. Our online initiative means low dog registration fees, digital registration  and optional printed certificates.

Daily operations, administration and management is led by the Chief Executive and his team acting on the directions of the Board and reporting to the membership. Real dog people who you can call and speak to and who work remotely all over the UK.

Vice-Presidents Membership is an upgrade, giving access to special ViP functions, event facilities, printed publications and lots more.

Our Annual Awards; the jewel in the crown of our events, normally held in conjunction with our Christmas party, they celebrate the success and contribution of members and their dogs across the year, including the prestigious Member Of The Year award.

A highlight in our annual events calendar is making a return for 2026! A two day dog training and social dog festival open for day visitors or to campers for the full experience. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear when details are released!

Members who are dog trainers or who run dog training classes can register their club or organisation with us for the directory advertising. Registered clubs can run our awards. Qualified trainers can apply for Registered Dog Trainer or Registered Assessor status membership.

Any profit from all of our activities and services is donated to The Dog Training Club Charitable Trust to make grants and donations to dog charities.

To reduce costs and paper waste, we replaced sending members a printed Year Book with a new Blue Book, online for members, it has our full rules, constitution and official registers to view  as they update. The printed Blue Book can be purchased from our publishers.

The Executive Committee is a modern group of 25 members appointed directly by members. 1 Representative for each region and each dog training discipline. Meetings usually take place online to save costs, and full minutes are published for member transparency.

Members are able to register their dog events for listing and advertising on our website or events such as Fun Charity Dog Shows, Matches, Canine Sports Games and special events can be registered online and held under our rules and regulations.
