Shaping Our Future Together: The Executive Advisory Committee
Welcome to The Dog Training Club's Executive Advisory Committee, a dynamic body of 25 dedicated members elected by our vibrant community.
This committee serves as the voice of our members, representing equally; every region and dog training discipline within the club. With a commitment to transparency, we ensure that every decision is made with the best interests of our members and their beloved dogs in mind.
Our Executive Advisory Committee meets quarterly, with written resolutions (decisions) of the meetings published for members to review, fostering an open and transparent environment.
Members can submit agenda items or reach out to their regional or discipline representative at any time for support or guidance.
We believe in a club where every voice matters, and we invite all members to get involved in shaping the future of The Dog Training Club. Whether by standing for election or simply staying informed, your participation ensures that we continue to move forward, united in our love for dogs and dedication to excellence in training.
The Executive Advisory Committee is appointed for a three year term, any member can stand for election for their region or discipline and if a vacancy occurs then the first person to apply is co-opted to the vacancy for the remainder of the term.

We invite you to stand for election to our Executive Advisory Committee. Whether you have years of experience or are new to the community, your voice matters.
Our committee is elected for a three-year term, but vacancies can be filled at any time. If you're the first to apply for an open position, no member vote is required—you can be co-opted by the Board.
We meet four times a year, with at least half of our meetings held online to accommodate everyone's schedule. While the role is voluntary, expenses are reimbursed, and you can expect to dedicate the equivalent of one day a month to admin or committee duties.
